What is the American Pig Challenge? It is a contest that American Pig is running to see who can come up with the best t-shirt design. When it comes to designer clothing submissions this is a place where you as a designer can voice your opinion and even submit your own work at a chance of winning $250! If you are an opinionated person you have the option of writing comments about other peoples designs and voting for which design you think is the best.
I like that they show how many votes each design currently has. As shown in the picture below. If you look closely you can see which design has the most votes and which designs are close runners up for being chosen. I think it is a great way to bring people together in an online community and also inspire clothing designers to show case there work.
If you are a clothing designer and you have a clever idea that you think is good enough to win the American Pig Challenge, I suggest you submit your work and have the chance to walk away with an extra $250. This could be a great start to getting your creativity out there and showing the community your talents!

Troy and I started working together a few months ago. He is an amzing artist and I can’t wait to work with him more. Check out some of new and archived work on his new website.

Once again we used Drupal as the backend Content Management System which is quickly becoming our CMS of choice. He has complete control over the website from navigation to blog updates. If you ever need some graphic design work done for a youth oriented product line - he is your man!

On Thursday night Alex Bronstein (from Crafty Space - Eugene) and I drove up to Seattle only to arrive with no vacancy signs on the front doors of local city hotels. Thankfully, my friend Alexis helped us out with a place to stay and friendly conversation. The next morning we started early, had breakdfast and headed out to the Seattle Drupal Camp on the west side of the city towrds Alkai. The first session was titles “Developer Meet Themer” - a perfect introduction to an amazing weekend packed full of great sessions for novice to advaced subjects concerning the world of Drupal and open source community projects.
I met some great people like Gord and Rene, RegX Gary, Gregory, Arthur, Scott and so many more. I hope to stay in touch with them as we are frequently in Seattle vising clients and friends.
You can check out some of the video presentations on Blip.tv

Ok - I know what your thinking - and yes - we actually do take breaks. Strange as it may be we had a blast doing it. Last week we spent a few days in Seattle working on a new project and having a little fun in the process. We stopped by Safeco field just in time watch the Mariners shut out the Boston Redsox (1-0).
This is the crunch time for winter sports websites and marketing so we might have to say good bye for a little while as we go into project mode hibernation. Relax, relax - we will be back and full of surprises from todays leading snow sports companies.
Stay tuned.
