LifeStylze Action Sposrts Communty Project Turns Alpha

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

lifestylze website

LifeStylze is a company side project that began in the summer of 2001 and launched a public Beta website in the Summer of 2003. The mission of LifeStlyze has always been to showcase the trends in the Action Sports Community, but the execution of that mission statement has evolved ten fold. We orginally brought Lifestylze online as an affiliate marketing portal focusing on search engine optimisation to bring us traffic related to snowboarding and surfing gear. We had a partnership with U.S. Outdoor Store to sell their products on our website and we would earn a commision for each product sold. This was a very lucretive relationship for both of us - until the Winter of 2005 when Google changed its algorythm to exclude affiliate links in their search results. Needless to say, this dropped out market impact and we closed shop on the lifestylze.com.

During the summer of 2007 we reformulated programming logic to lifestylze.com and gave the website a facelift as well as full featured community driven backend to support the progression of Web 2.0 - In December of 2007 we relaunched the website as Alpha v.4.12

After making numerous networking connections we are excited to be bringing the website back to life with full rejuvination. Staye tuned for more information on the LifeStlyze project.

Until then you can check outsome of our outreach market profiles:

Sacred Defcon Book

Enter the Eternal Order Of Defcon: Website TwoThousandSeven

defcon home

This year’s website was collaborative approach to brand management. We worked closely with a local branding company called Big Giant. Jason Miranda is a super talented designer and helped establish a theme for this year. We wanted to boost the coomunity influence of Defcon by styling the catalog to look and feel like an old scripture book for a mideavil secret society of snowboarders. The concept spanned across all levels of website development, from user interface to exclusive community backend. The pages were derrived from an actual book which gives this website a high sens of realism.

Snowboard Gloves

The community section has many awesome features including individual user profile pages, similar to Facebook and MySpace, as well as a User Interaction Award System which gives members rewards for interacting with the website including participating in secret operative events (regularly updated). They can then redeem their awarded credits for select items in a virtaul store featuring select limited edition Defcon products. - go ahead, purchase a pair these gloves and recieve your unique Membership ID - sign up today and earn your gear!
